Who we are & What we do

Fly fishing and photography is our passion and whether we are behind the camera or the rod, it’s what we love doing, it’s who we are and what we are.  Washington Irving wrote, “There is certainly something in fishing that tends to produce a gentleness of spirit, and pure serenity of mind.”

It’s a gift, a blessing, when you can jump off the fast train for a bit, listen to the calm, feel the rhythm of the water gently pushing against your waders, watch a trout cautiously take a natural mayfly, make a cast, hope it’s good enough, and then watch as the fish chooses your fly, you set the hook and connect with mother nature in a way that only fly fishing offers.

It’s those special moments that we attempt to capture in photography. The magic of a trout rise, a tarpon roll, the afterglow in a sunset or predawn magic in a sunrise. And whether we’re in the backyard or half way around the world, there is beauty all around us. We just have to see it.
